Welcome to the Website of DLC Photography.
I started building this site in February 2001, as an outgrowth of my passion for Nature Photography. My goal is to share my favorite images and provide helpful technical information on digital photography in general, with reference to Canon's digital SLR cameras in particular (D30, 1D and 1D Mark II). Photo Workshops for 2009: Locations likely to include the Amazon, Brazil or Panama, with a return to Costa Rica. Email me if you would like to be notified as these trips are finalized.
Brazil's Pantanal Photo Expedition: **Nov. 1 - 10, 2008** I will be working with International Expeditions on this trip. They are one of the largest and most reputable international tourism agencies. Email me if you have interest or questions. Additional details available here. Update: Trip full as of March 3, 2008. Waiting list available.
New Images: Ultimate Costa Rica Photo Safari: This trip was completed, and was just spectacular. Images and report on this trip are contained in 3 small galleries: Birds1, Birds2, Other.
Online Photography Forum: I am now functioning as a Moderator of the Wildlife and Landscape/Travel Forums at the newly opened Open Photography Forums. A very talented and impressive group of photographers are behind this site, and it will be a great source of intelligent discussion of a wide variety of photography topics.
